I have provided training and education to medical, academic, and behavioral health providers in a variety of settings, which include public school districts, special education programs, outpatient mental health settings, and graduate-level/medical training programs.

 

Topics on which I have presented include:

• Substance use disorders

• The impact of media on adolescent substance use

• Suicide assessment and interventions

• Behavioral support systems

• The children’s system of care in New Jersey

• Utilizing strengths-based language when working with children

• Collaborating with medical providers while treating mental health issues.
